Lacon Mausoleum

Subterranean vault comprising gable-fronted entrance with cross finial and coat of arms.  A flight of steps, flanked by brick lined walls, descend to the burial vault (now with metal grillage).

Family burying ground of the Lacons of Ormesby Hall (demolished c.1960). The Lacons were a brewing family who at their height were producing over 100,000 barrels of beer a year. A memorial window within the church is also dedicated to the Lacon family.
