Longsdon Mausoleum

This impressive mausoleum holds an important position on the main avenue leading away from the cemetery gate. It is built of smooth Portland stone, with a square burial chamber and, above that, a high dome raised on a drum. “Alfred Longsdon” is inscribed over the doorway, now boarded up.

Fair/Good, currently being restored (2002).
